There are good plotlines of time travel and artificial intelligence, yet the human element remains as a human cop’s instincts are needed to crack alien cases. The special effects are notable with old-fashioned model work, while the makeup on the aliens is quite impressive. The crimes can range from high-stakes drama to some light comedy. It takes place in a futuristic world where some human cops work alongside aliens dressed in regular police uniforms.
